This is one of the simplest and fun ways to help out our cause! Reach out to your school administrators, business managers, work team, etc. to organize a fundraiser for homeless shelters. Be creative, anything goes! Some ideas include a Penny Jar War, $1 to wear Pajamas, talent show, or bake sale. Participate in Local Food Drives
Want to join our efforts but too busy to start a fundraiser? Make a donation and take advantage of this incredible opportunity to lend your support. Find a couple of canned and/or dry goods in your cabinet and drop it off at your local church, food bank, or homeless shelter. It’s a great way to contribute to our cause; every little bit counts towards paving the path for a better tomorrow. Reach out if you need assistant to search for a location or items to donate!
Collect and Donate Outgrown Clothes
If you have any unworn or outgrown clothing or accessories that are in good condition, don't throw them away! Hoodies, T-shirts, sweatpants, jeans, scarfs, mittens - everything counts. Collect, secure, and drop them off at your nearest clothing donation service center. Support the Unity Shelter by keeping someone warm and clean today.
